Founded in 2002, Motu Productions has evolved—from its original mission as a strategic marketing and creative services agency, to its current structure as a full-fledged production company offering key service aspects of film-making: writing, producing and directing.

Motu maintains offices in Orange County, California and 9,500 feet up in the mountains of Colorado.  Additionally, the Melino Resort & Writers Wranch is under development on a tropical island in the Kingdom of Tonga, South Pacific.  (Note: if you’re looking for a pristine tropical island location for your next film—complete with pristine beaches, incredible unspoiled reefs and unbelievably low overhead—the Vava’u Island Group in Tonga is an undiscovered jewel to consider.)

Ideation and creativity is at the heart of Motu’s existence.  Yes, we can assemble a top-notch film crew, complete with state-of-the-art cameras and production equipment.  But we are truly driven by our passion for the creative process that nets quality entertainment on the big screen, little screen, computer monitor or cell phone.
